The Arusha Tribe & our story
The original home of
unscripted bush adventure.
Born in the workshop. Proven on Tanzania's wildest trails.
Plan with the original crewWhere it began
Grease, red dirt and a few old bikes.
This didn't start with a boardroom business plan or a polished marketing campaign. It started with grease on our hands, red dirt under our boots, and a few old bikes parked at The Garage Moshi.
Tucked right at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, The Garage Moshi was Ground Zero—the original basecamp where the first trail machines were prepped for harsh African terrain, where line choices were argued over cold beers, and where the soul of Tanzanian off-road exploration was born.
From those workshop roots, The Arusha Tribe was forged: a family of local riders, bush mechanics, trackers, and lifelong friends who live and breathe this soil.

Trail by trail
We didn't find these routes on a map. We mapped them.
Long before off-road adventure became a trend or a website page in Tanzania, we were out here cutting the lines.
We spent years pushing through dry riverbed passes, climbing high-altitude ridges, and building real, lasting handshakes with Tanzanians across the Great Rift Valley. We didn't buy a pre-packaged route framework—we carved it out from scratch, breakdown by breakdown, trail by trail.
For us, getting lost to find the destination isn't a mistake—it's the whole point of the adventure. It's where the paved road ends, where the dust takes over, and where real stories are born.
The original crew
Often imitated.
Never replicated.
Anyone can buy a fleet of bikes or copy-paste a list of trail stops onto a screen, but you can't fake decades of grease, sweat, and genuine native soul.
When you ride or drive with us, you aren't booking a sterile tour with a crowd of strangers—you're stepping into an authentic, unscripted expedition with the original crew that opened the territory.
At the end of a hard day in the saddle, when the engines cool down and the campfire crackles under a blanket of southern stars, you'll realize why there's only one original.
